Tony Crisafi, RA, LEED AP
Tony Crisafi is a founding partner at Island Architects in La Jolla, California. He has over 30 years of experience as a custom residential architect in Ohio, California, Wyoming and Florida. Tony received his Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, his MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds NCARB, national architectural certification.
Tony began his career in Northern Ohio designing new and remodeled homes in the historic communities of Shaker Heights and Gates Mills, Ohio. After relocating to San Diego in 1988, Tony continued his career designing and managing custom home projects in La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Newport Beach, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles’ Westside.
In 1992, Tony joined Drex Patterson in forming Island Architects in La Jolla. Tony and his partner, Drex, have designed over 200 new and remodeled custom homes in San Diego County and Wyoming as well as the Caribbean, where Island Architects was originally founded by Drex over 28 years ago.
Tony and his wife live with their dog in the Point Loma community and enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling, and sunny, breezy days along San Diego Bay. Tony has three children all of whom have careers focused on creative endeavors.
